Reese's Pieces Cookies

Posted by Laura at 6:01 PM
For my first entry, I thought I would take a simple classic, the chocolate chip cookie, and put a delicious spin on it by substituting the majority of the chocolate chips with Reece's Pieces candies. Because how can that not make for an awesome cookie?

Reese's Pieces Cookies

2 1/4 cups flour
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp salt
1 cup butter, softened
3/4 cup granulated sugar
3/4 cup brown sugar
1 tsp vanilla
2 eggs
1 1/2 cups Reece's Pieces
1/2 cup chocolate chips

1. Preheat oven to 375°F.

2. Combine flour, baking soda, and salt in a bowl; set aside. Beat butter, sugars, and vanilla in large mixer bowl until creamy. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Gradually beat in flour mixture. Stir in Reece's Pieces and chocolate chips. Drop by rounded tablespoon onto ungreased cookie sheet.

3. Bake for 7 minutes or until the edges turn a golden brown. Cool on baking sheet for 2 minutes; remove to wire racks to cool completely.

Make approximately 3 dozen.
